For a full wash:

A weighted blanket is much heavier when wet, so a bigger machine is easier on both the blanket and your washer.

Lay it flat over your body and let it rest. There's no need to tuck it under the mattress.
Use it for reading, watching TV, a nap, or at bedtime. If the weight feels like a lot at first, give yourself a few nights to get used to it.

Will it make me too warm?
It's a medium-weight, all-season blanket. If you tend to sleep hot, the lighter weight is the better pick.
Will the beads shift or clump?
No. The glass beads sit in small stitched squares, and the extra layers in our 7-layer build hold them in place, so the weight stays spread out evenly.
Which weight should I choose?
Under 190 lb, go with 15 lb. At 190 lb or more, go with 20 lb. If you're between the two, go lighter.
Can two people share one?
Yes. The 80" × 87" (20 lb) is wide enough for two. For one person, the 60" × 80" is the usual choice.
How long does it take to get used to it?
Most people need a few nights. Start with short sessions on the couch, then move to bedtime.
Can I machine wash it?

Which size should I choose?
Our blanket comes in 48" × 72", 60" × 80" and 80" × 87". 48" × 72" is a snug throw for one person on the couch or in bed. 60" × 80" gives one person full coverage with room to spare. 80" × 87" is the roomiest option if you like a blanket that drapes over the sides of the bed.
How do I choose the right weight?
Under 190 lb, go with 15 lb. At 190 lb or more, go with 20 lb. If you’re between sizes, go lighter. 15 lb comes in 48" × 72" and 60" × 80". 20 lb comes in 60" × 80" and 80" × 87".
How is the 7-layer blanket different from earlier Yescool blankets?
Earlier Yescool blankets had 5 layers. This one has 7: two extra layers of glue-free cotton batting sit around the glass beads. The beads stay evenly spread inside each 5" × 5" stitched square. The hanging loops are reinforced with bartack stitching. It also arrives in a PVC storage bag inside a custom paper box. This version is exclusive to getyescool.com.
What is the blanket made of?
The outside is soft brushed polyester (100% polyester). Inside are fine glass beads, held between layers of glue-free cotton batting and polyester lining. It’s made for adults, for indoor use, and works in every season.

How do I care for the blanket?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, on its own. Use a mild detergent and skip bleach and fabric softener. Tumble dry on low, or air dry flat. Because the blanket is heavy, a large-capacity machine or a laundromat works best, especially for the 20 lb sizes.
Will it feel too warm?
The brushed polyester is soft and cozy, and the weight adds a gentle, hugging feel. If you tend to sleep warm, choose the lighter weight, and use it over a sheet instead of under a duvet.
Is it safe for everyone?
It’s designed for adults. Please don’t use it for infants or toddlers. If you have a medical condition, or are pregnant, ask your doctor first. You should always be able to move the blanket off easily on your own.

My husband absolutely LOVES the 15 lb blanket I bought. He doesn’t need a heated blanket but was using one for the weight. Not any more. He loves everything about this blanket, especially that it stays put. The covering is soft, a nice rich navy blue and seems to be well made. We haven’t washed it yet but will definitely take it to a laundromat the first time we do, just in case of any leakage. I’ll update this review after washing it.
I have had this blanket for a few months and this has helped me sleep better. It is cooling when it gets too hot at night, it can also preserve heat. Love the quality of this blanket. The blanket is also not too heavy, thought it would be too heavy for me when I bought it. Update: I put this blanket through my washer and dryer machine and it did just fine like any other load of laundry.

This blanket is amazing. The smaller size is for a single person. The pink does not look like Pepto-Bismol as it does in the pictures. I got the 15 pound blanket and I weigh 150lbs, I am female. My weekend naps have gotten better since I have been using this. I love that when I put it on my comforter it does not move around at night. If you are thinking about getting one do it.
Feels like it's filled with a bunch of teeny bean bags. I'm surprised at how soft this blanket is, and how it keeps me cool. My doh is loving it too! Some parts around the outside of the blanket aren't totally filled with beads. It's too heavy to operate on delicate cycle in washing machine, but washed fine on regular setting. Slept great.
This weighted blanket is softer than I could have imagined! I bought this blanket to replace an old one from 6 years ago, it sprung a leak 😳. This yescool blanket is of great quality, the individual pockets have a nice amount of filling and the beads don't move around a lot. The color (I got grey) as it's going to be inside a duvet cover, is a better quality color compared to my old blanket. I bought this for use in a semi- truck, it helps me stay asleep while the truck is moving.
This is one of the best weighted blankets I have ever owned. It helps all my sensory issues and melts my anxiety. I feel so relaxed I don't want to leave my bed lol I am even going to take it to the movies tonight 😊
Weight feels right. Biggest issue is how to clean it? The directions say machine washable, but no soaking or wringing. Not dry clean either. So how!!!????
Good sized blanket I got it for my girlfriend well made but I took it out of the package it came zipped up in and it’s covered in animal hair.
I really love this weighted blanket! I use it as a throw over the top of my regular comforter. It is so soothing and also helps my son stay asleep. The quality is great, we’ll see how it holds up.

I have suffered from sleep problems for years. This weighted blanket is God's gift for sleep. NO more PILLS! I fall asleep and stay asleep through the night. I used wake up just about every couple of hours. Now I get 7-8 hrs of sleep every night. Love it. I bought a second one so when I wash it, I'll have an extra to use when the first one's drying. Excellent product. Wish I had discovered it sooner.
